With State House of Representatives District 34 vacant, it's up to the County Commissioners of Washington and Multnomah Counties to select a replacement. Since the previous Representative, Lisa Reynolds, was a Democrat, the local Democratic parties forwarded three names to the County Commissioners that the Commissioners must select from.

Alexandria Goddard is #1 on that list and is the candidate who has a real focus on labor and workforce issues. As staff to Senator Chris Gorsek (one of our labor champions!), she has worked on and passed a number of bills that have benefitted working families in Oregon and stood steadfastly by UFCW Local 555 through it all. Getting her appointed to the State House will drastically expand the pro-labor footprint in Salem!

Please support this pro-labor candidate by sending a message to the County Commissioners urging them to select Alexandria Goddard. You can either write your own message or edit one of our pre-generated messages if you don't have much time... but we want Alexandria Goddard to have a strong showing when the Commissions make their decision on January 15th!
